General Tsao Cauliflower

I am a vegetarian and I loved this dish! Very flavorful, had a good texture, and filled me up! My friends and I come back to Scratch regularly specifically for this dish!

Classic Mac

I topped my Mac n cheese with crispy chicken tenders!! This dish was so delicious, homemade Mac n cheese! So creamy and cheesy! Just like mom made. Not to mention the chicken is hand breaded and melts in your mouth. Don't forget the Brunch margarita, with pomegranate and Limoncello! This made from scratch restaurant is so satisfying in a world of fast food and chain restaurants. In addition the staff was delightful and courteous! Very knowledgeable and go above and beyond, what a refreshing change to f pace! Be prepared to wait, very popular but there's a great outdoor waiting area!

Shrimp Po' Boy

We've now been here twice, and I've enjoyed the shrimp po' boy twice! I prefer this sandwich as it is served at Scratch - with the addition of coleslaw as opposed to the traditional iceberg lettuce and tomato – they do tomato and arugula instead. It's HUGE! The asian-inspired aioli is awesome (think almost like bang bang shrimp.) The roll was also perfectly toasted on the inside, but still soft on the outside. 2 thumbs up!

BBQ Egg Rolls

I'm partial to the BBQ Egg Rolls at a specified BBQ restaurant in downtown Raleigh and these were JUST as good, if not better! Will be ordering these every time I go.

Smokehouse Mac & Cheese

My other half got the Smokehouse Mac & Cheese on our first visit - served in a large skillet. The portion is absolutely massive! He shared a bit with me - so delicious and creamy! I like the noodles they use - perfectly cooked and great for holding in all the creamy cheese sauce. The fried onions on top were also a nice touch.

Sesame Salmon

This dish is a winner every time! Salmon cooked perfectly to your liking with a glaze that is subtly sweet to match grilled perfection of the fish. I am not a mushroom fan but I have to say, the sticky rice with edamame and mushroom is to die for. You get a hint of the coconut milk along with the caramelized onion. I've tried many things on the menu but this dish is a must!

BBQ Egg Rolls

This was one of the best appetizers I've ever had! So delicious — all other appetizers have been ruined for me in comparison. I would definitely recommend it!
